We are excited to announce that we are working with Uber on the development of their new global headquarters in San Francisco, USA.
Following an international search, THERE have been engaged to create a comprehensive wayfinding and placemaking package for a new workplace campus comprising 4 buildings, totalling over 1 million sqft, in the Mission Bay district of the city.
The campus is designed to connect to the city around it and will share public plaza space with Uber’s neighbour, the Golden State Warriors new basketball stadium.
Working alongside US interior design firms Huntsman and RMW, as well as Uber’s own in-house teams, our scope will see us deliver a campus-wide wayfinding system alongside environmental graphics and placemaking installations to help activate the workplace and build on the recent company rebrand.
The new address marks an exciting new era for the global ride-share company. In a short time they’ve grown from being a start-up disruptor, to global infrastructure influencer. The campus provides them with a mature, centralised space to inspire employees, wow visitors and connect with the local community.
The project also marks a milestone for THERE as a our first major project in the US and builds on the success of our studios in Sydney and Singapore, with extensive experience working across Australia and South East Asia, further expanding our global offer.
