Making Memories in Marrakech

Working with long-time client Girish Jhunjhnuwala, of Ovolo Hotels fame, THERE was commissioned for an altogether more personal design brief. In celebration of his daughter’s upcoming wedding we were asked to set the design tone for the Marrakech-inspired wedding collateral

Using customised Marrrakech motifs we animated a series of illustrational pages edited to a lively soundtrack – that takes the invitee on a magical journey of discovery while conveying the itinerary for the 4-day North African wedding extravaganza.

The outcome saw the creation of a whimsical, yet refined, linear illustration style. A limited colourways was selected to imbue a sense of warmth and celebration.
