Two wins for Global Design

We are thrilled to announce that THERE has won 2 awards at the 2023 Global Design Awards, revealed recently at SEGD’s annual conference. 

Since 1987, the Society for Experiential Graphic Design Awards have set the standard of excellence for design work that provides compelling, human-centred experiences in environmental graphic design.

At this year’s awards held in Washington DC, only 33 projects were selected to receive an award, with 2 of THERE’s projects recognised as representing the very best in experiential graphic design worldwide. Our project for Ovolo South Yarra, Melbourne received a prestigious Honour award, drawing praise for its unique charisma and personality. Our End of Trip graphics for Darling Quarter, Sydney also picked up a Merit award, with the judges commenting on the creation of an optimistic and welcoming space.

“We couldn’t be prouder of these two projects – and love that they have been celebrated as globally leading examples of great design”, said Charlie Bromley, Head of Environments.

“Both projects, although hugely different in scope and sector, show how environmental graphics and placemaking have the potential to transform any space into a dynamic and inviting place.”
