The Rhythm of South Sardinia

Working together Italian Hospitality Collection (IHC) and Jhagger&Co the project aim was unify three distinct hotel experiences (Conrad, Baia di Chia – Curio Collection by Hilton, and Hotel Village) under one nature-led precinct without erasing each hotel’s role. The process clarified a multi-brand architecture that welcomes different ‘family’ types into one precinct while guiding each to the right hotel.

The Chia Laguna name was to be retained and the desire was to premiumise the brand to create a more elevated and considered brand attracting a new era of guests seeking a more wholesome and grounding holiday.

A distinct positioning line The Rhythm of Nature turns the landscape’s cadence into a unifying brand idea. The brand outcome saw the creation of a fresh new visual identity, a refined flamingo-inspired monogram and shorthand motifs. This is enriched by an illustrational hand-cut geometric shapes drawn from South Sardinia flora and forms.

A uniquely characteristic headline font creates rich character, whilst elevated art-direction dials up golden-hour warmth, cinematic depth, candid reportage to create an authentic, sophisticated and elevated outcome.

Throughout the process the customer experience journey was considered at every step – leading to a bank of ‘uniquely Sardinia’ experiences (Think; Blue Zone menu, cycling, sunrise hikes, foraging, stargazing, coastal swim club, horseback beach rides and quad biking) turning brand experience into bookable moments.

The final outcome is an exciting precinct brand with a single rhythm—expressed many ways. A cohesive positioning of a ‘nature resort in the heart of wild Southern Sardinia’ now leads every introduction, with taglines that flex by context. The brand rollout saw us working across brand book, brand guidelines, website, in-room amenity and post cards and merchandising.

Since launch – They have attained a more premium presence in the marketplace – A refined symbol set, rhythm-driven wordmark, and cinematic art direction create a recognisable, high-end look across digital, print and property. Experience-led storytelling – A living calendar of nature-anchored activities turns brand values into itineraries, deepening connection to place.
