The Star is one of Australia’s largest tourism and entertainment destinations. Following an audit of its existing wayfinding, a complete overhaul of its signage system was required to navigate visitors to destination precincts within the integrated resort.
A strategic wayfinding approach was informed by significant site research, including signage audits and user-journey testing safaris.
Taking inspiration from both the geometric, architectural forms and interior materiality cues – a sleek lozenge form is carried through all signage elements giving a creative and culturally relevant impression that feels distinctly, The Star.
Digital totems with animated LED edges attract visitor attention from afar, along with embedded touch screens displaying an elegant custom wayfinding interface that aids navigation within the venue whilst enhancing the customer experience.
