For the HQ of a major financial services, a wayfinding scheme was developed to reflect their tech-focused culture. Taking cues from digital design, the signage system employs modular layouts and pixel-inspired compositions to create a visual language that feels agile, intuitive and future-focused.
Bamboo is used extensively throughout the workplace, offering a rapidly renewable, low-impact material choice. Its use within the signage brings a natural warmth and texture that balances the digitally-inspired graphics with a sustainable design approach.
Key destinations are named using First Nations language, celebrating the local culture and traditional custodians. This approach gives each space a unique identity, enhancing wayfinding while creating a workplace that feels meaningful, connected and inclusive.
Feature graphics are further used to activate community hubs, depicting the flow of local waterways with earthy, pixel-based patterns. The approach brings a sense of rhythm and connectivity to the workplace, while subtly celebrating the local environment.
The end result is a visually engaging, tech-inspired workplace, with each element designed to balance clarity with creativity — reinforcing the client’s role as a technology leader while enhancing the everyday experience for staff and visitors alike.
