Afterpay’s Melbourne home features 5000sqm of workplace and is a new regional hub for the global fin-tech company. Across 4 floors, the office is designed to reflect Afterpay’s innovative approach to their industry, empowering customers to achieve financial freedom.
The wayfinding takes its cues from the brand identity, with graphics and the “Bondi Mint” colour used to create a distinct system.
A strong connection to the retail sector is also celebrated through design details, like the freestanding totems inspired by the form of shopping bags or the flag signs that resemble clothing swing-tags.
Placemaking elements play on the brand’s confident tone-of-voice, with a range of statements layered through the space in neon light features and sculptural installations.
This optimistic, thoughtful – and sometimes sassy – use of brand language helps to embed the ethos of the brand into the workplace.
